In this one-day, two-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of carving designs onto your very own plate using the sgraffito technique, a decorative process where designs are carved through a layer of underglaze (or colored slip) to reveal the clay underneath.

Learn how to handbuild your own clay ashtray and decorate it in this two-hour workshop! Students will learn how to make the tray using the pinching method and customize it however they want. By the end of the class, students will complete one ashtray.

Learn how to make necklace/earring pendants out of clay and decorate them in this two-hour workshop! Students will learn how to cut pendants from a slab and sculpt a 3-D shape and decorate them with underglaze. By the end of the class, students will complete 1-4 pendants that showcase their own unique designs.
